My Daughter Wants to be Buddy Holly

Here she is trying to be just like the Buddy himself. Why doesnt she want to be like me? I mean aren't I cooler than Buddy? I can play most of his songs, doesnt that count? Ive gotta admit the look suits her well. She has been fascinating me lately with her cuteness. Shes been playing guitar, playing the piano, counting in songs, and playing some percussion. Shes been trying everything and anything. Today she even tried some of her mommies perfume. Thank God she didnt enjoy the taste. What a scare. I almost had a myocardial infarction. What a girl!

Self-taught guitar lessons are among the most popular and learning how to play the guitar for fun is a very common hobby or past time.

Well, in her defense... Buddy IS pretty awesome. So's her old Dad, but that realization doesn't come til much later in life. We all go through our phases (I always wanted to be Elvis). Little Dakota is beyond cute- I can tell she's got you wrapped around her little finger AND that there's never a dull moment in the Delhart household! Thanks for sharing.
